Yenda Beer
/Commissioned by the folk at The Kinetic Agency, this Yenda beer campaign was a nod to the humble origins of Yenda beer. The ‘We Grow Beer out here’ campaign transported the viewer out of the city into the country and the humble town of Yenda. After two days of shooting beer, walking through barley fields, getting covered in dust, wrangling dogs and chasing light we produced a campaign that was warm, true to the brand and showcased the salt of the earth aussies that make the beer happen.

One of the trickiest shots of the day was turning this dam into a river. We had out talent on the edges of the river bank, enojying a beer and some fishing. We had our assistant kitted up in waders in the dam, throwing some light back towards our talent. The landowner did warn us ‘you’ll have to be out of the water before sunset, all the snakes will be here to drink then’. Needless to say we wrapped this shot pretty quickly. We shot multiple plates to make for a seamless retouch that made building a river.
